Dr Karen Lim

Dr Karen Lim

Karen is a warm, compassionate, and highly experienced dentist. She graduated from the University of Otago in 1998 and began her career as a dental house surgeon at Dunedin Hospital and the School of Dentistry. These early roles provided a strong clinical foundation before she returned to Auckland to continue her work in general practice.

In 2005, Karen expanded her professional experience by working in the UK, where she had the opportunity to travel extensively. The exposure provided Karen with a wider knowledge in her working experience and patient care.

Karen enjoys meeting new people and helping patients feel relaxed and supported throughout their dental care. Her focus is on preserving natural teeth, restoring smiles, and guiding patients through their treatment concerns. She believes that great dentistry begins with comfort, genuine connection and trust.

Outside the clinic, Karen is a proud mother of twins and an active contributor to the community through her volunteer work. Her commitment to caring for others extends well beyond her profession.
